BresoTec Co-Founders and Co-Inventors

Dr. Douglas Bradley, MD, FRCPC, FCAHS is BresoTec’s Chief Medical Officer, Co-Founder and Co-Inventor. He is a Respirologist, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Division of Respirology, and of the Centre for Sleep Medicine and Circadian Biology at the University of Toronto. He directs the Sleep Research Laboratories of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and Toronto General Hospital, and holds the Clifford Nordal Chair in Sleep Apnea and Rehabilitation Research. He has published over 260 papers and book chapters on sleep apnea and related topics.

Geoff Fernie PhD, PEng, CEng, FCAHS also Co-Founder and Co-Inventor is a Professor in the Department of Surgery at University of Toronto and has numerous other cross appointments. He has a track record of taking inventions from the laboratory to market. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed journal papers and book chapters, 23 awarded patents and an additional 16 patent filings. He has received several awards for his achievements, most recently the Order of Canada.
